Immediacy

Your coding agents, everywhere you are. Start, steer, and review long-running AI agents from any device — private by construction, any model behind one UI.

§ What it is

Immediacy is a cross-device workspace for AI coding agents. A daemon runs on the machine where your code lives; each task is an isolated git worktree with its own headless agent session. You move fluidly between a native Mac app, your phone, or a browser — approving actions from the train, answering a prompt by voice, previewing a dev server through the tunnel.

It’s also my workshop: I build every Ixiom project with it.

§ Why it feels different

  • Any agent, one UI. Claude, Codex, OpenRouter, and local Ollama behind a single interface — pick your agent per task.
  • Private by construction. An outbound-only tunnel means no inbound ports; secrets stay on the daemon. We never run --dangerously-skip-permissions.
  • Agency with a seatbelt. Allow/deny approval cards and worktree-scoped auto-approval keep you in control of everything that touches your repo.

§ immediacy-ctx — making development measurably faster

Agents waste tokens and time orienting themselves — grepping, reading, following imports — before the first edit. immediacy-ctx pre-indexes a codebase and serves a ranked context brief so the agent can skip that phase. It’s the same learning & memory engine that powers Anamanti, pointed at code instead of a home.

§ How it’s built

A Node/TypeScript daemon (WebSocket protocol, node-pty, git worktrees) with native SwiftUI (Mac), Flutter (mobile), and a dependency-free browser client. immediacy-ctx is Rust — axum, candle/Metal, tree-sitter, ast-grep, and an embedded graph+vector store — exposed over HTTP, OpenAPI, and MCP.
