Cadora

One calm, shared place for your family’s calendar, lists, and meals — and more and more, a helper that keeps it all up to date for you.

§ The problem

Family logistics live in a dozen places at once — text threads, sticky notes, separate personal calendars, the fridge whiteboard. Cadora replaces that scatter with one calm shared source of truth: a fast, ad-free calendar with true two-way sync, lists, chores, and meal planning.

§ Less typing, more capturing

The idea is to go from an app you have to operate to one that does the fiddly bits for you. Forward an email, screenshot a flyer, paste a message, or just say it out loud — Cadora drafts the calendar events and list items, shows you why it added each one, and waits for a tap to confirm. The calendar still shows up; it just stops being where you do all the work.

The AI model isn’t the special part — a shared, always-current picture of your family’s life is. That’s the bit a generic assistant can’t easily copy.

§ You decide how much it does

You choose how far Cadora goes on its own: just watch, suggest, do-it-but-let-me-undo, or fully handle it. Everything is reversible, and you can always take over. Touchy things — like where a kid is — stay at “just suggest,” always.

§ How it’s built

A Flutter app with an offline drift/SQLite cache, a React + Vite web app, Supabase as the system of record, and a Node/Fastify app server. Extraction runs on Claude; transcription is Whisper-compatible. Deployed on Fly.io. Works hand-in-hand with NextHaul for the shopping side.
